Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for an experienced Quality Analyst (Manual Testing) with strong hands-on expertise in manual testing of mobile applications (Android & iOS) and web portals. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of how mobile apps interact with backend APIs and web services, and will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality standards across our products.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform thorough manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing on mobile applications (native/hybrid) and responsive web portals.
Test end-to-end user flows across mobile and web platforms, ensuring seamless integration and consistent behavior.
Validate API interactions from the mobile app to web/backend services (e.g., verify request/response, payload structure, authentication, error handling).
Identify, document, and track defects using tools like GitHub, Jira, or similar tools.
Create detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on requirements and user stories.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand features and acceptance criteria.
Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing for web portals.
Perform sanity and smoke testing after each release/deployment.
Participate in requirement reviews and provide early feedback on testability and potential risks.
Contribute to improving QA processes and best practices within the team.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

2-5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of mobile applications (Android & iOS) and web portals.
Strong knowledge of mobile-to-web API integration - understanding where API calls originate from the app, payload structure, endpoints, and expected responses.
Proficiency in testing tools such as Postman or similar for basic API validation.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Good understanding of payment/remittance flows is a strong advantage.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Nice to Have:

Basic knowledge of automation concepts (even if not hands-on).
Exposure to performance or security testing basics.
ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent.
