About the job

 Job Descripton:

• Participate in the development of test strategies, plans, and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
• Execute manual and automated test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects throughout the testing process using defect-tracking tools.
• Perform regression testing to verify software fixes and ensure product stability.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to communicate test results, quality metrics, and potential risks.
• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies, including the implementation of best practices and tools.
• Mentor junior QA team members and guide testing techniques and methodologies.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide feedback on product usability and user experience.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with test automation with any tools and frameworks (Selenium or Cypress or Playwright,Appium, LMS/LOS, Lending system, Fintech, Database queries, Web/ API Automation, Manual Testing
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes is a plus
