Your Mission

This is not a maintenance role. This is a builder's seat at the table.

As QA Lead , you’ll lead the team that powers our global testing engine. You’ll architect next-generation QA systems, train and level-up elite engineers, and introduce AI-powered workflows that make us faster and smarter every week. You’ll be responsible for both client outcomes and internal excellence—and expected to set the pace for the next generation of tech execution in Nepal.

This is a rare opportunity to lead QA across multiple products, ship with urgency, and help the most ambitious software teams in the world avoid bad releases and build with confidence.

What You’ll Own

Technical Execution

• Build and lead high-performance QA systems across mobile, web, API, and multi-platform applications.
• Introduce and scale automation, AI tooling, and regression coverage that gives us an unfair advantage.
• Own the delivery pipeline for testing outcomes—internal and external.

Team Leadership

• Train and mentor QA engineers into top-tier talent.
• Set quality standards. Define process. Build frameworks. Then scale them.
• Create internal documentation and systems that others rely on.

AI + Internal Innovation

• Leverage AI to boost test writing, test case review, and bug triage.
• Help engineers and testers improve their own productivity using AI-assisted workflows.

Client-Facing Impact

• Lead QA delivery for our top accounts. Be the face of BetaNinjas QA to CTOs and founders.
• Translate feedback into better systems. Own outcomes—not just test cases.
• Bring urgency and structure to every test cycle. Speed wins.

Who You Are

• You’ve been a QA Engineer or SDET for 5+ years and know how real teams ship code.
• You’ve led teams, built systems, and introduced tools that changed how QA works.
• You don’t just test for bugs—you test for speed, user flow, coverage, edge cases, and reputation.
• You’re excited to work with AI to move faster and think smarter.
• You’re comfortable in front of CTOs, engineers, and product teams—and know how to hold your ground.
• You like building people as much as building systems.

Bonus Points If You...

• Have worked inside or alongside startups
• Have built QA automation in Python, JS, or another scripting language
• Can run regression and smoke testing like a machine—but with nuance
• Know when to test manually vs. automate
• Have experience testing in CI/CD environments
