Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical QA Engineer with hands-on experience in testing web applications, including frontend UI/UX and backend API & logic validation. You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our software solutions, working closely with developers, designers, and product teams.

Responsibilities:

Review product requirements and technical specifications to create effective test strategies.
Develop, maintain, and execute test cases for frontend (UI, responsiveness, cross-browser) and backend (API, DB validation, error handling).
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of web applications.
Design and implement automation scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Postman (for API).
Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira, GitHub Issues, or similar.
Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues and improve overall product quality.
Continuously contribute to process improvement and test automation efforts.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
2+ years of QA experience in web application testing.
Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies (Agile preferred).
Proficiency in manual testing of both frontend and backend systems.
Experience in writing and executing test cases and test plans.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and tools like Postman or Swagger.
Basic scripting or test automation experience (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
Understanding of security testing basics.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
