About The Role

As a QA Engineer at UXCam (Kathmandu Office), you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our analytics platform. You will work closely with the development and product teams to design and implement automated test frameworks, conduct manual testing when necessary, and analyze complex software systems. Your expertise will help us maintain high standards and deliver exceptional products to our users.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
• Develop automated test cases for both frontend and backend components.
• Perform thorough regression, functional, and exploratory testing of different product components.
• Identify, document, and track bugs, and work with developers to resolve them.
• Design and execute automated tests for RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
• Validate API responses, performance, and reliability.
• Ensure comprehensive coverage of API functionalities.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for test automation as required.
• Use data-driven analysis to track product quality and prioritize testing efforts.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and UX designers.

What You’ll Need to Succeed at this role

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in QA engineering, with a strong emphasis on automation and API testing.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
