Roles and responsibilities of this job

This role requires to develop and execute test plans for testing of various business applications, integrations and products/ features to ensure quality assurance of the business applications. He/ She shall be responsible for manual and/or automated testing and shall engage with cross teams including business, developers/ vendors and end users.

Job Specification:

At least University degree in Engineering/ Science/ IT or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in software testing/ QA, application implementations with good knowledge of web/ mobile applications, relational databases and operating systems. Knowledge of Fintech or banking domain will be advantage.
Should have sound understanding of QA processes & methodologies to apply quality assurance of the existing and new products and/or systems.
Create detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases. Ability to prioritize, plan, coordinate and/or execute test activities to ensure systems meet requirements.
Exposure in manual and automated testing of front end, back-end and interfaces with sound knowledge on Web Services, XML, Message Queue, FTP, financial messaging & encryption technology. Knowledge in testing of banking/financial/payment systems preferred
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Ability to learn, understand & apply new technologies with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environment is crucial.
