About the job

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software products. 
• Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure software product quality, functionality, and performance.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, and collaborate with development teams and project managers to resolve issues. 
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. 
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks and tools. 
• Perform regression testing and ensure product updates do not affect existing functionality. 
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. 
• Provide detailed reports on testing activities, including bugs, defects, and test results. 
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices. 
• Continuously research and implement QA best practices and tools to improve the testing process.

Requirements 

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
• Proven experience as a QA Specialist, QA Engineer, or similar role. 
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. 
• Experience with both manual and automated testing. 
• Proficiency in test management tools and bug-tracking systems. 
• Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, TestComplete, or similar. 
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in an Agile environment. 
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical mindset. 
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of database queries (SQL) and backend testing. 
• Understanding cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus. 
• Certification in QA (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.
