About the job

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python programming and a passion for developing high-quality software. As a Python Developer at Hridayangam technology, you will be responsible for leading, coordinating, testing and maintaining Python applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Project Accountability

Understand the project requirements clearly.
Generate queries in case there is any confusion in understanding the project.
Discuss any technical challenges that might come affront while working on the project.
Realize the project delivery date and understand the communication channels.
Write clean, modular & maintainable code to develop a quality product on time.
Conduct first-hand testing of the project tasks before submitting the tasks to the CTO
Verify the product with SRS.
Follow company coding standards.

2. Team Coordination

Take ownership of the project from planning to the delivery of the project.
Be easily approachable and flexible in work.
Get involved in peer programming and code reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 2 years of professional work experience in software development.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent in relevant stream.
Problem-solving ability.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Good decision-making skills and highly motivated personnel.

HIGHLY PREFERED SKILLS:

Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a valuable asset.
Knowledge in unit & smoke testing.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues in web applications.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud can be advantageous for deploying and scaling applications.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools for automated software testing and deployment.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Good Knowledge of OOPS concepts, and design patterns.
Experience with Python programming language.
Experience with RESTful web services and parsing JSON.
Experience building web APIs using FastAPI framework.
Experience with PostgreSQL database.
Experience working with a version control such as Git.
Experience working with caching, long running tasks, and performance tuning.
Understanding of web application security best practices, including data encryption, authentication and authorization.
