Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Responsibilities:

Full responsibility for the whole system (server, database architecture, program codes, apps dependencies, and interconnection of our systems)
Design, develop and maintain software that powers Samayama’s 4 sided (Rider, merchant, customer, admin) logistics operations
Own the architecture and implementation of major initiatives, modules and entire products
Work in cross functional teams with product managers & UX designers to ship software on-quality and on-time
Provide technical leadership and coaching to your team; conduct code and design review; drive code quality and process improvement initiatives
Lead your team to write code that you are proud of, with extensibility, scalability and performance in mind
Maintaining git versioning & server (staging & production)

Requirements (Essential):

Backend experience in Python and Django framework
Experience with creating RESTful endpoints using the Django REST framework
Data architecture (Database Management)
Strong understanding of OOP Concepts, Data Structure and Design Patterns
Strong understanding of Web Services, Caching, Scalability, REST/SOAP Principles
Ubuntu server, Git versioning, and Security systems (front-end, back-end, server)
Writing reusable, testable, and efficient/scalable code
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with Microservice Architecture
Knowledge of TDD (Test Driven Development) in Python
Knowledge of CI/CD tools like (Jenkins, AWS Pipeline)
