 Main Tasks/duties and responsibilities:

  • Source, evaluate, and select vendors and suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery timelines.
  • Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, including issuing purchase orders, tracking orders, and coordinating logistics.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of materials and components to support ongoing projects and operational needs.
  • Develop mechanical systems and components in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, analysis, and simulations to optimize designs for performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems into larger projects and ensure compatibility with other subsystems.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for mechanical issues during project execution and maintenance phases.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, including purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and receipts.
  • Generate reports and analysis to track key performance indicators, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory levels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Working experience as Mechanical Engineer in manufacturing industry or in projects. 
  • Superb written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Great organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent networking and time management skills.
