The purchase officer is solely responsible to purchase all the goods and services required by our company. He sources vendors, negotiates contracts, and ensures prompt delivery of materials. He confers with accounts payable to ensure that vendors are paid in a timely.

• To locate all vendors of Iron, Steel and Cement category products and establish better trading relationship with them.
• To contracting, pricing, competition analyzing and purchasing the best quality product at reasonable price on behalf of company.
• To analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present, future and substitute material availability.
• To maintain reports of goods ordered and received, price fluctuation and supply condition in the market.
• To monitor the frequent updates in market, market conditions, merchandise costs, etc.
• To liaise closely with the finance department concerning payment of procedures for delivered goods.
• To administer on-line purchasing system.
• To represent company in negotiating, contracting and formulating policies with suppliers and resolve all complaints and grievances of vendors and claims against suppliers.
• Other duties as assigned.
