Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Develops and implements strategies for procuring and maintaining stock levels
Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies
Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased
Maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records
Nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company
Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc
Identifies and researches potential new suppliers
Collect requisition slip for raw material and packaging material
Update the raw & packaging materials order register accordingly to requisition
Prepare pending order report on weekly basis
Regular coordination with inventory staff to ensure proper storage and stock level
Make the regular report to the CEO of the company

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 5 years

Other Specification

Master's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a similar field preferred
5+ years of experience as a Procurement Officer, or Manufacture industry
Excellent knowledge of vendor sourcing practices such as researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors
Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and carry out cost analyses
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Understanding of supply chain management procedures
