Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts / Purchase Assistant to support accounts, procurement and basic accounting functions for construction and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting:

Process Accounts Payable (AP) & Receivable (AR), including invoices, payments, and collections.
Handle daily transactions, petty cash, bank reconciliations, and maintain ledgers.
Generate invoices, sales reports, and assist with monthly/quarterly financial reports.
Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records.

Purchasing:

Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) and manage vendor communication.
Source suppliers, request quotes (RFQs/RFPs), and compare prices.
Track orders, follow up on deliveries, and check goods received.
Maintain procurement files and inventory records.

Combined Duties:

Coordinate with departments to meet purchasing needs and forecast.
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations (GST/TDS).
Assist with audits and inventory reconciliation.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Must have a bike with a valid license
Minimum 1 year of experience
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
