Children-Women in Social Service and Human Rights (CWISH), a non-profit civil society organization established in 1993 with an aim to ensure social justice, protection and promotion of human rights especially the rights of children and youths, invites applications for different posts: Project Coordinator, Youth Advocacy Coordinator and District Youth Mobilization Officers from interested and eligible candidates (Nepali citizens only) who are reliable, accountable, and have ability to deliver results with highest level of integrity.

The vacancy is called for Nepal based positions for a south Asian regional (Nepal, India, Pakistan) project, “From LOCAL to GLOBAL: strengthening, networking and capacity building of youth-led activities for the right to a clean and healthy environment” funded by Terre Des hommes (TDH Germany) and Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) Germany.

  • At least 1 years of experience as psychosocial counselor, preference shall be given to the candidate having experience working with the children
  • Able to communicate in English and Nepali language; fluency in both written spoken is desired
  • Proficiency in typing of both the Nepali and English
  • Flexible about time involvement and promptness to help the children even in the off office hour
  • Sound knowledge in computer in handling all the office packages

Job Description

  • Provide counseling service to the children survivor of abuse and exploitation
  • Empower school teachers on the use of counseling tools and explore the cases of abuse and exploitation against children
  • Follow up of children receiving services from CWISH
  • Documentation and reporting of the psychosocial intervention in community and in the schools
  • Prepare success stories and reports of the children receiving services from CWISH
  • Help formulation of psychosocial programs in the school and in the community.
