  • S/he should have sound understanding of the thematic area - Education and proven experience in program/project management, implementation, monitoring and reporting including the financial management.
  • S/he should have excellent interpersonal, communication, coordination and negotiation skills to work in partnerships with government and PNGOs.
  • S/he should have willingness to go on frequent field visits and the ability to work under pressure/stress. 
  • Good command over English & Nepali language and proficiency over MS office package is a must.

Job Description

  • The Project Officer - Education (Soft Skills) will be working in close collaboration and consultation with the Project Coordinator - Education and will be responsible for overall management of the Education (Soft Skills) project in the district which include providing technical assistance to PNGOs (including Resource Persons, DEO, Teachers) on Education and ensure effective & efficient delivery of programs.
  • S/he will be responsible for the regular monitoring and reporting of the project as well as capacity building of project team and partner organizations.
  • S/he will also represent Save the Children in different forums at districts and regional level.
