With funding support from Hem Kumari Gurung Memorial Trust, FGN will implement the project “Trafficking Prevention and Family Empowerment Project” in Lamjung District.

As a Project Officer, you will be pivotal in implementing the "Trafficking Prevention and Family Empowerment Project." Working closely with stakeholders and beneficiaries, contribute to protecting at-risk children, empowering families, and fostering community involvement to minimize risks of child trafficking and abuse.

Lead the overall implementation of the "Trafficking Prevention and Family Empowerment Project" in collaboration with the FGN project team.
Liaise with stakeholders and engage directly with project beneficiaries to ensure effective communication and support.
Collaborate with the Local Child Protection Committee and community leaders to identify and protect children at risk of child trafficking, displacement, and abuse.
Work with various local entities such as authorities, child clubs, community, educators, and social activists to minimize risks and promote family-based care.
Organize and conduct awareness events, meetings, and training sessions to educate and empower the community.
Assist in planning monthly activities and contribute to the operational budget, ensuring timely and efficient implementation.
Provide regular updates to the Line Manager on project activities, progress, and results.
Offer recommendations for optimizing project implementation and effectiveness
Undertake any other relevant duties essential for the success of the project.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 5 years

Other Specification

Proven experience (at least five years) in project implementation, community engagement, or related fields.
Strong understanding of child rights, child protection system, trafficking prevention, and family-centered approaches.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and communities.
Demonstrated ability to adapt, problem-solve, and work independently.
