Job Description

Project Manager: Jajarkot Reconstruction

We're seeking a dynamic Project Manager / Civil engineer to spearhead our reconstruction projects in Jajarkot & Rukkum. This role is a blend of fieldwork (75%) based in Jajarkot and planning (25%) at our head office in Lalitpur.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate our reconstruction efforts in Jajarkot & Rukkum.
  • Promote CSEB interlocking brick technology to local authorities, development organizations, and residents.
  • Oversee reconstruction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely reporting to senior management.
  • Identify and support potential entrepreneurs in starting their interlocking brick businesses.
  • Develop strong relationships with local governments, INGOs, and NGOs.
  • Manage and assign tasks to field staff effectively
  • Provide ongoing support and coordination with our network of entrepreneurs.

 What We're Looking For

  • A highly motivated and independently working attitude
  • A backgroud in civil engineering / construction
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or development sectors.
  • At least 3 years of experience in leading projects.
  • Strong communication skills in both Nepali and English, both written and verbal.
  • Proven experience in community engagement and liaising with local governments.
  • Prior experience in working within rural settings.

Note: An engineering degree is highly advantageous but not mandatory.
