SN Energy Limited is seeking a dynamic, result-oriented, and experienced Project Manager to lead the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of our hydropower initiatives (such as the Super Seti Hydropower Project).

The role requires managing the project through its entire lifecycle from commencement and design to construction, commissioning, and Commercial Operation Date (COD) while ensuring completion within schedule, budget, and strict regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all phases of the hydropower project lifecycle from commencement to commercial operation (COD).
Coordinate seamlessly with civil, mechanical, electrical, geological, and hydrology teams to ensure technical excellence.
Oversee construction activities for major components including headworks, waterways/tunnels, penstock, powerhouse, switchyard, and transmission lines.
Manage project schedules, financial budgets, procurement, contracts, and resource allocation.
Liaise closely with the Department of Electricity Development (DoED), Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), local authorities, consultants, contractors, and community stakeholders.
Ensure full compliance with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), environmental, social, quality, and health/safety standards.
Monitor daily project progress, identify engineering and logistical risks, and implement immediate corrective actions.
Prepare comprehensive project reports for management, the Board of Directors, investors, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Hydropower Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in hydropower or large-scale infrastructure project management.
Track Record: Must have successfully delivered at least 2+ hydropower projects from start to completion, steering them through construction, testing, commissioning, and commercial generation (COD).
Side Exposure: Experience working on both Client and Contractor sides is strongly preferred.
Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Nepal’s hydropower licensing procedures, statutory frameworks, and grid connection requirements.
