Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a highly experienced and competent Residential Engineer to lead and oversee the technical and construction supervision activities of a major building project. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction works are executed in accordance with the approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, contract requirements, and applicable Nepalese codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise day-to-day civil and structural construction activities at site.
Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, contract requirements, quality standards, and applicable Nepal Building Codes.
Review technical submissions, shop drawings, method statements, work programs, and material approvals.
Monitor construction progress, quality control, testing, measurements, and payment claims.
Coordinate effectively with the Client, Contractor, Consultant, MEP and other project stakeholders.
Identify and resolve technical issues and maintain proper site records and documentation.
Prepare progress reports and participate in site meetings, inspections, and project reviews.
Provide technical guidance to engineers and site supervision personnel.

Required Experience:More than 12 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
Minimum 12 years of professional experience after Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience in at least three (3) building projects involving DPR, detailed design and/or construction supervision, with a consulting fee exceeding NPR 20 million per project.
Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field will be an advantage.
