Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Project Manager - Irrigation/ Highway to lead and oversee the successful execution of civil construction projects from planning through completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for overall project planning, execution, monitoring, coordination, and delivery, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved plans, drawings, specifications, contractual requirements, quality standards, and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and oversee the overall progress of civil construction projects, ensuring timely completion as per approved plans, specifications, and contractual requirements.
Monitor project performance, identify potential risks and delays, and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
Ensure effective allocation and utilization of manpower, materials, equipment, and other project resources.
Ensure compliance with applicable contractual requirements, project specifications, drawings, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Support contract administration, documentation, reporting, and coordination in accordance with PPMO and FIDIC Contract Agreements.
Conduct regular site and progress reviews and prepare reports highlighting project status, issues, risks, and recommended actions.
Coordinate with technical and project teams to resolve construction-related challenges and ensure smooth project execution.
Liaise effectively with clients, government authorities, consultants, contractors, and local stakeholders to facilitate project implementation.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements throughout project execution.

Education: BE Civil Engineering
Experience: Minimum 7 years. At least one project following PPMO, FIDIC Contract Agreement
Project Exposure: Civil Construction Projects
Contract Knowledge: PPMO & FIDIC
Technical Skills: Project Monitoring & Contract Administration, AutoCAD, SW Road, MS Office
Management Skills: Resource & Risk Management
Soft Skills: Communication & Coordination
Other: Willingness to travel to project sites
