Location: Kaski and Manang

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead and coordinate hydropower and infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, safety, and cost control. The role involves managing project teams, contractors, stakeholders, schedules, and budgets while ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements in different project site.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee all phases of the project lifecycle from feasibility and design through construction, commissioning, and handover.
Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and hydrology engineers to ensure the technical soundness of all project components, including headworks, penstock, powerhouse, and transmission lines.
Liaise with government bodies, the Department of Electricity Development (DoED), local authorities, and community stakeholders in the region.
Manage project schedules, cost control, procurement, and contract administration.
Supervise environmental and social safeguard compliance in accordance with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) requirements.
Monitor construction quality, safety standards, and risk management throughout the project.
Prepare and present regular progress reports to project owners, investors, and relevant authorities.
Facilitate resettlement and community engagement programs for project-affected households in and around the project site.
Preparation of the Construction schedule, effective mobilization of equipment in a timely manner in coordination with the mechanical department.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 15 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Hydropower Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 15 years of experience in hydropower or infrastructure project management in Nepal or similar mountainous terrain and at least 2 project completions as project manager.
Proven knowledge of Nepal's hydropower licensing, regulatory framework, and grid connection procedures.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and reporting systems.
