Roles and responsibilities of this job

SLISHA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate CBCD Project Manager to oversee the implementation and day-to-day management of its Community-Based Child Development (CBCD) Project. The Project Manager will ensure that all project activities are carried out effectively and in accordance with SLISHA's objectives, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate records of daily project expenses.
Manage and reconcile petty cash in accordance with organizational policies.
Prepare, maintain, and regularly update the inventory of project assets and supplies.
Ensure that daily activities for children are implemented effectively and according to the project plan.
Organize regular staff meetings, prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and reports.
Support the Helper in procuring groceries, supplies, and other project-related items when required.
Coordinate regularly with the Executive Director and Finance Officer on project implementation and financial matters.
Maintain regular communication and coordination with HOLT International.
Participate in and facilitate regular virtual (Skype/online) meetings with HOLT.
Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly financial and program reports to management, donors, and other concerned stakeholders.
Conduct performance evaluations of CBCD staff jointly with the Executive Director.
Liaise and coordinate with ward offices, municipalities, and other relevant government agencies to ensure effective project implementation and compliance.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Executive Director in support of the CBCD Project.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Management, Education, Public Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is an advantage.
Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, preferably within NGOs/INGOs working in child development, education, or community development.
Strong project planning and coordination skills.
Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
Leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
Commitment to child safeguarding and ethical practices.
