Job Summary: The Project Manager will play a critical role in planning, executing, and overseeing projects aimed at empowering the target groups. This position requires a dynamic leader who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of survivors, marginalized, and underprivileged girls. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management within the NGO sector, a deep understanding of social issues affecting women and girls, and a commitment to creating sustainable change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor projects that align with the organization's mission to empower marginalized groups.
  • Oversee project budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including donors, partners, and community members, to ensure effective collaboration and resource allocation.
  • Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance, support, and capacity building as needed.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of project impact and outcomes, and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges to project success.
  • Develop strategies for scaling successful projects and replicating them in other regions.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and respect for diversity.
  • Advocate for the rights and needs of survivors, marginalized, and underprivileged girls in all project activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within an NGO or similar organization.
  • Proven track record of managing projects focused on social development, gender equality, or women’s empowerment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of local and international regulations and best practices related to social work and women’s rights.
