Job Description

Reports To: Business Head / Managing Director

Position Overview

Brij Himalayan Spring Pvt. Ltd., is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Head – Jar Business to lead and grow our jar distribution business in and around the Greater Kathmandu region. This role will oversee the entire jar water value chain sales, distribution, fleet, customer service, and partner management ensuring sustainable growth, operational excellence, and market leadership in the water jar segment.

Key Responsibilities

Business Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan for jar sales in Greater Kathmandu.
  • Identify new market opportunities and drive market penetration, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.
  • Oversee pricing, margin management, and ensure competitive positioning of jar water in the market.
  • Drive P&L responsibility for the jar business unit.

Sales & Distribution Management

  • Build, lead, and manage a sales & distribution team (sales officers, delivery staff, distributors).
  • Optimize daily route planning, fleet utilization, and delivery efficiency.
  • Establish strong relationships with retailers, distributors, corporates, institutions, and households.
  • Track sales targets and implement incentive programs to drive performance.

Operations & Supply Chain

  • Ensure availability, timely refilling, and circulation of jars across the Kathmandu valley.
  • Monitor inventory, logistics, and quality control systems.
  • Coordinate with the factory/production team for seamless supply alignment with demand.
  • Implement processes and SOPs for handling jars, customer returns, and tracking.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, and mentor the sales and operations team.
  • Build a culture of accountability, customer service, and performance excellence.
  • Ensure strong HR practices in terms of workforce discipline, motivation, and safety.
Customer Experience & Brand Building
  • Strengthen customer support mechanisms to handle complaints, feedback, and service improvements.
  • Represent the brand in local partnerships, marketing campaigns, and institutional tie-ups.
  • Ensure brand visibility and trust in the jar business.

Data, Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate MIS reports on sales, distribution, fleet utilization, and financial performance.
  • Analyze data to drive strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
