Work Purpose: The Project Engineer will help supervise and support sector-specific construction works across the assigned Earth bag house construction site. The primary responsibility of the Project Engineer will be to develop, direct and coordinate a comprehensive Quality Assurance and Quality Control process for Earth bag House Construction. The position holder will also monitor and supervise contractors, material supply flows to the construction sites, and will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors and laborers on project operations as appropriate.

Required Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 – 3 years’ relevant work experience in alternative house construction and managing contractors, sub- contractors and construction materials
• Earthbag house construction experience is preferred
• Managing laborers and comprehensive quality assurance and quality control, excellent sustainable house construction knowledge and skills 
• Good knowledge of computer systems, especially MS Office 
• Excellent communication skills in planning and monitoring 
• Professional proficiency in English language
• Good report writing skill is required.
• Having experience in constructing Dome House and Earthbag house will have added advantage. 
• Valid Motorbike license holder.
