KOSHISH is a non-governmental self-help organization registered in District Administration Office, Kathmandu in 2008 and affiliated with Social Welfare Council. KOSHISH is a right-based organization working extensively in advocacy in and multi-disciplinary and holistic mental health and psychosocial support in Nepal. In addition, KOSHISH is also working in system strengthening and creating a model that the government and other stakeholders may able to replicate.

Education Level : Graduate (Masters)
Experience Required : More than 3 years
Other Specification
  • Master’s degree in law, human rights, international relation or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in working with high level authorities and in project management
  • With understanding of or experience of working with psychological issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Nepali
  • Excellent skill in documentation
  • Excellent computer skills; well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite particularly strong and thorough knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently under pressure and in a team
  • Flexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project
  • Able to produce quality work with strict deadlines

Job Description

  • Form and organize advisory committee meetings
  • Develop collaboration with stakeholders of the project
  • Organize sub-committee meetings and collect ideas to plan for specific activities with high level stakeholders
  • Organize Seminars/Workshop/Interaction/Orientation for high level stakeholders and carry out follow up activities to collect information about the output from performed activities
  • Contribute in development of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials regarding psychological disability and UNCRPD for specific stakeholders
  • Organize consultation meetings with high level stakeholders on relevant issues relating to psychological disability
  • Prepare timely reports (Annual, half yearly, event reports) and minute the meetings
