Project Working Areas: former Narayanpur, Dhansingpur, Lalbhoji and Bhajani VDC of Kailali district

Project Working Areas: former Narayanpur, Dhansingpur, Lalbhoji and Bhajani VDC of Kailali district

Project Coordinator: 1 

The Project Coordinator will manage MCHN project in project working areas of Kailali district ensuring compliance with WVIN’s sectorial and quality standards, Government’s policies and industry norms. The role will be responsible for managing and monitoring the performance of staffs, ensuring that project staffs have access to appropriate technical and functional support, and managing relationships with sectorial key stakeholders including Local Governments. 

Term & Location: 

  • Fixed term position and will be based in Tikapur with frequent field travels to project working areas

Academic Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health with at least 3 years' experience of managing maternal health and nutrition project OR Master's degree in Public  Health (Preferred) with at least one year's experience of managing maternal health and nutrition project 

Sector Knowledge 

  • Sound knowledge of maternal child health and nutrition
  • Sound knowledge of Government policy, program priorities, needs and issues in relation to maternal child health and nutrition
  • Good Knowledge of behaviour change communication

Project Management and related skills

  • Good understanding of operation issues like timely delivery of services, good planning and monitoring skill.
  • Skills to analysis project related data and incorporate in the report and good report writing skills
  • Sound skills in capacity assessment/Training Need Assessment process and tools for staffs and target group
  • Skills in project staffs mentoring and onsite support
  • Good meeting facilitation and documentation skills
  • Presentation skills in different forum and network
  • Capacity to identify local advocacy issues around MCHN programming
