|The Project Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, reporting, monitoring and implementing the agroecology project activities of ODA Foundation in Kalikot. The position requires close coordination with farmers, local stakeholders, government offices, and project partners to ensure effective and timely delivery of project objectives.
Location: Mahawai, Oda, Kalikot.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day implementation of agroecology project activities in the project area including the management of timelines and workplans.
- Coordinate with the leadership team on the development of metrics and targets for the project’s measurements of success against its planned outcomes.
- Support planning, monitoring, and reporting of project activities against agreed plans, indicators, and targets.
- Prepare progress reports, and documentation as per organizational and donor requirements.
- Facilitate coordination and collaboration among farmers’ groups, community institutions, local authorities, and project partners.
- Provide technical and coordination support for agroecology-based interventions, training, and field demonstrations.
- Conduct regular field monitoring visits to ensure quality implementation and timely identification of challenges and solutions.
- Ensure proper data collection, record keeping, and documentation of project activities, learnings, and outcomes.
- Support the organization of capacity-building activities, workshops, exposure visits, and community meetings.
- Communicate regularly with the ODA Foundation team and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth project operations.
- Other tasks relevant to project delivery and the role may be assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Science, Business Administration or an equivalent academic qualification.
- Experience in the reporting and monitoring of projects.
- Prior experience in agriculture, agroecology, or rural development projects will be an added advantage.
- Experience working with rural communities and local stakeholders is preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently under field conditions and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive working attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and multicultural environment.
- Proven report writing and documentation skills, with the ability to prepare clear, accurate, and timely reports.
- Ability to manage monitoring data.
- Basic digital literacy (MS Office, data tools).
- Basic knowledge of agroecology principles and sustainable agriculture practices is preferred.
Language Requirements
- Fluency in Nepali (spoken and written).
- Working proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Other Requirements
- Willingness to be based in Kalikot and travel frequently to project sites.
- Commitment to working closely with farming communities and local institutions.
- Aligns to inclusion and Leave No One Behind (LNOB) principles.
