Job Description

This position is the overall management of one or multiple moderate-sized projects. Overall and complete management requires a person to be able to complete all the tasks from the planning stage to the implementation, monitoring and evaluation and when necessary the termination of a project. A person in the position will be responsible to manage one or multiple projects that come to a combined budget total between two and five crores.

It is expected that a person in this position will be able to manage up to 30 full time employees over a range of different fields as per the project/s purpose and description.

This position requires a person with good decision making ability, staff management and monitoring and excellent networking skills. You should be highly knowledgeable in the field of the project and be willing to constantly learn and research and implement new and effective methods of how the project can be improved. You should be aware of relevant legislation and keep up-to-date with any changes.

The project coordinator will manage a safe home for rescued minor girls from the sex trade and/or rape, transitional home from the safe home and small awareness and educational programs across Nepal as detailed in the approved project description.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree with minimum of 5 years’ experience in relevant field

  • Efficiency using MS packages
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Nepali
  • Report Writing
  • Ability to ride motorbike or scooter (must have licence)
  • Timely and time management skills
