Duty station : Programme Management Unit (PMU)/Dailekh with frequent visits to project sites
Duration : Till December 2020  

Job Purpose     

• Creating an enabling environment for greater engagement of citizens in local governance to enhance good governance and the rule of law
• Leading and ensuring efficient and effective planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of project activities, and managing the project fund and human resources
• Contributing to building the capacities of local governments, elected women representatives and civil society organizations on human rights and democratization

Required Education, Experience and Social Competence:

• Master’s degree in social science, rural development, public administration, public policy, or another relevant field
• At least 5 years of working experience in governance and accountability related project/programme. Commitment towards gender equality, social inclusion and poverty reduction

Remuneration and Benefits: 

• As per rules and regulations of Helvetas Nepal
• Candidates from Karnali Province is preferred
• Candidate may also be offered for other suitable position
