Project and Site Engineer

Direct Reporting: To senior promoters

Role Overview

The Project and Site Engineer will be the primary technical presence on the ground in Birgunj, responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction execution, managing contractors, and ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role reports directly to the promoters of KUKS Investment Pvt. Ltd.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all civil construction works on site in Birgunj 
• Monitor construction progress against schedule; identify and resolve delays proactively
• Supervise MEP (mechanical, electrical & plumbing) works and coordinate with specialist subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards
• Review, finalise and approve Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for cost estimation and procurement
• Coordinate with the technical consultant (Entraspace) and design team on design queries and RFIs
• Verify and approve contractor bills and payment certificates
• Prepare regular site progress reports for the promoters
• Liaise with and manage contractors, subcontractors and suppliers on a daily basis
• Travel to Kathmandu (approx. 20%) for coordination, procurement, and stakeholder meetings
