About the Team:

The WaterAid Programme Information & Systems Team provides management information and systems so that programme staff are empowered to undertake effective planning and delivery of programmes and projects as well as ensure high-quality reporting of programme performance to the wider organisation. 

This role sits within the newly formed Programme Information and Systems Team within the Programme Operations Team, and reports to the Programme System Manager (Salesforce). It is accountable to the Joint WA Australia and WAUK Oversight Group.

About the Role:

As our Programme System Analyst (Salesforce) you will be part of the team managing the joint WaterAid Australia/UK Programme System (WAPS). You will maintain, improve and help develop the usefulness and performance of WAPS for all users.

You will support users by providing first line support, developing and delivering training materials and sessions, managing user access, defining and developing dashboards and reports, and working on initiatives to improve data quality. You will need to understand and appreciate the challenges faced by the functional teams and users, their priorities and concerns. In this role, you will support users as well as system administration and data management.

You'll also: 

  • Ensure the core functionality of WAPS is available and working as required on a daily basis
  • Contribute to the on-going development of system administration processes, document technical guidelines, and develop and maintain system templates.
  • Provide user training and support capacity development]
  • With the Programme System Manager (Salesforce), plan and co-ordinate testing of any new functionality.
  • Work with stakeholders on initiatives to improve completeness, validity and accuracy of data in the system. Provide dashboards and reports to highlight and track data quality issues and work with users to resolve data gaps and/or quality issues.

About You:

  • Good understanding and operational experience of managing databases or management information systems.
  • Experience of developing and delivering system training material, user training, and support services to non-technical users.
  • Experience of improving data quality and understanding of importance of data quality and completeness.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Methodical with strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
  • Business analysis skills, including demonstrable experience of gathering and documenting user requirements, problem investigation and analysis.
  • Experience of using technology to improve effectiveness and efficiency, and a willingness to complete formal system administration training and certification.

Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:

  • Hands-on experience using Salesforce and Amp Impact
  • Experience defining, designing, and building system reports.
