Job Description

The core functions of the PO-ER are to assist in the management of LWR Nepal Earthquake Response Projects along the core programs of LWR Emergency Operations Strategy, including identifying partners, assisting the partner in the project development, identifying the most relevant and effective mechanism to allow the affected families regain normalcy, partner capacity support, documenting lessons learned, and monitoring the project implementation of partners.

Job specific requirements:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of previous experience working with I/NGO in project management role
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, monitoring and evaluating emergency response systems and exposure to emergency response projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in social science
  • Excellent facilitation skills in conducting meetings, training workshops and conferences
  • Familiarity with Lamjung and Gorkha area would be an advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with local government, non-government organizations, community based organizations and other grassroots groups
  • Ability to travel about 75% of the time
