About the job

The Women Welfare Foundation is seeking a qualified Program Officer for a climate-related project. 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement programs addressing the intersection of climate change and gender inequality.
  • Coordinate with local partners and stakeholders to empower vulnerable rural women.
  • Monitor and evaluate program activities to ensure objectives are met.
  • Prepare and present reports on program progress and outcomes.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops for community members.
  • Support fundraising and grant-writing efforts to secure project funding.
  • Travel to the project site

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in program management, especially in climate change and/or gender equality initiatives.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
