Children-Women in Social Service and Human Rights (CWISH), a non-profit civil society organization established in 1993 with an aim to ensure social justice, protection and promotion of human rights especially the rights of children and youths, invites applications for different posts: Project Coordinator, Youth Advocacy Coordinator and District Youth Mobilization Officers from interested and eligible candidates (Nepali citizens only) who are reliable, accountable, and have ability to deliver results with highest level of integrity.

The vacancy is called for Nepal based positions for a south Asian regional (Nepal, India, Pakistan) project, “From LOCAL to GLOBAL: strengthening, networking and capacity building of youth-led activities for the right to a clean and healthy environment” funded by Terre Des hommes (TDH Germany) and Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) Germany.

  • Sound and proven knowledge in program development and quality assurance  
  • Able to communicate in English and Nepali Language fluency in both written spoken English
  • Proper documentation skills, and report writing 
  • At least 3 years of experience in project cycle and coordination, experience of working on human rights / child rights / child protection / education is preferred
  • Sound knowledge in computer in handling all the office packages

Job Description

  • Prepare periodic (monthly, quarterly, annual) plan of action of the program team and implement them 
  • Trace and Keep the updated record of programmatic results along with the means of verification for the thematic interventions  
  • Documentation of the success stories, innovations, good practices and learning of the programs implemented in the valley 
  • Monitoring the programmatic interventions in valley, program outcomes and report to the organization  
  • Supervise valley, district and cluster level interventions and team
  • Mainstream the plan of valley in the plan of district level government stakeholders and Document all the achievement in the valley level and report to Government Stakeholders 
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance for the implementation of the valley, district and cluster level plan
  • Coordinate with relevant government stakeholders in district/valley level on mainstreaming concerned issues, plans and programs within the government plans/polices/ programs
  • Coordination and Networking with the existing alliance / networks in district / valley of non government organizations for joint advocacy
