Children-Women in Social Service and Human Rights (CWISH), a non-profit civil society organization established in 1993 with an aim to ensure social justice, protection and promotion of human rights especially the rights of children and youths, invites applications for different posts: Project Coordinator, Youth Advocacy Coordinator and District Youth Mobilization Officers from interested and eligible candidates (Nepali citizens only) who are reliable, accountable, and have ability to deliver results with highest level of integrity.

The vacancy is called for Nepal based positions for a south Asian regional (Nepal, India, Pakistan) project, “From LOCAL to GLOBAL: strengthening, networking and capacity building of youth-led activities for the right to a clean and healthy environment” funded by Terre Des hommes (TDH Germany) and Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) Germany.

  • Sound and proven knowledge in education, program development and quality assurance
  • Able to communicate in English and Nepali Language fluency in both written spoken English
  • Proper documentation skills,  and report writing in results based framework
  • At least 3 years of experience in project cycle and coordination, experience of working with human rights/child rights/right to education is preferred
  • Sound knowledge in computer in handling all the office packages

Job Description

  • National level policy advocacy, national movements, campaigns on education 
  • Prepare Thematic Plan on education and implement 
  • Capacity development of the staffs and the stakeholders in education
  • Developing training manuals, guidelines on education related interventions and Ensure none of the capacity development trainings for the stakeholders are delivered without training manuals and / or guidelines
  • Map the global and national emerging issues of education and reflect them in the form of thematic papers, orient and discussion among CWISH team members in at least quarterly basis
  • Review and Analyse different issues and agendas of education and develop program in at least quarterly basis
  • Trace and Keep the updated record of thematic and programmatic results along with the means of verification for the thematic interventions  
  • Documentation of the success stories, innovations, good practices and learning 
  • Monitoring the thematic and programmatic interventions, outcomes and report to the organization  
  • Document all the thematic achievement in the national level and report to Government Stakeholders 
  • Preparation of detailed implementation plan, activity guidelines, M & E plan of projects related to education and ensure timely implementation 
  • Preparation of the periodic project report 
  • Coordinate with relevant government stakeholders on mainstreaming concerned thematic issues, plans and programs within the government plans/polices/ programs
  • Coordination and Networking with the existing alliance / networks of non government organizations for joint advocacy on education
