Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to oversee our shoe manufacturing operations.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee the production process to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing operations.
- Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Monitor production performance and implement improvements to enhance productivity.
- Ensure the quality of products meets the company's standards and specifications.
- Manage and supervise production staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments, including procurement, quality control, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain and enforce health and safety regulations within the production area.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.
- Prepare and present production reports to senior management.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the shoe manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of production management principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a factory setting in Nepal or similar regions.
