Position overview: 

The Procurement Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services for Navata Pharmacy. The role involves managing the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management. The Procurement Officer will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide effective procurement solutions to support the smooth operations of the organization.

• Inventory management and optimization 
• Quality control and compliance Financial analysis and cost optimization

Qualifications: 

• Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a retail or healthcare setting.
• Procurement expertise: Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and techniques. 
• Supply chain management: Familiarity with supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics. 
• Negotiation skills: Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Analytical skills: Proficient in analyzing data, conducting market research, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. 
• Attention to detail: Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail. 
• Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• IT skills: Proficiency in using procurement software, MS Office suite, and other relevant applications.

Duty Station: Sanepa, Lalitpur with occasional travel as required for supplier visits and industry events.
