Job Description

Grade: - Senior Management

Level:- M5

Job Purpose: - To involve in developing and implementing procurement policy and strategy, to co-ordinate procurement practices and to maximize savings and benefits through sourcing and purchasing of goods and services for the company according to its available budget for each department.  

Reporting Line:-

  • Direct: - Chief Operating Officer

Terms of Reference:

  • Forecasting, planning and properly assessing the materials requirement of the company
  • Developing statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements
  • Assessing project material requirements and designing procurement requirements
  • Developing effective procurement policy and planning
  • Formulating budget for timely procurement of spares and required materials
  • Development and implementation of key procurement strategies
  • Managing a reduction in delivery cycle time
  • Ensuring the timely placement of all orders as per schedule
  • Ensuring timely delivery of purchase order as per requirement of project
  • Networking and negotiating with suppliers, to ensure price adjustments and access to retail costs
  • Maintaining strong relations with the vendors and our associates
  • Coordinating with the various in-house departments and should be able to assess their needs

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • MBS/MBA degree with minimum 5-7 years of experiences in related field. 
  • Planning, organizing, financial, budgeting and decision-making skills 
  • Should have excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
  • Must be a good initiator and possess good negotiation skills
