Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Identifying, liaising and negotiating with suppliers and manufacturers for the FMCG business
Develop and manage logistics plan for smooth business operation
Managing the entire operation of collection, storage, packaging and distribution
Verifying goods and purchase bills
Management of stocks and updating of records
Management of delivery to the distributors / customers
Crafting new sales proposals and contract renewals

Will need to frequently travel to India to look for suppliers

Interest to handle procurement and logistics of FMCG products
Knowledge of cross-border business system and process
Must demonstrate computer literacy and proficiency in the use of MS Office applications and management of supply chain databases (Excel, Access etc.)
Good social and negotiation skills along with business acumen essential
Ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines
A strong team player with good inter-personal skills
Required attention to details, maturity in decision making and time management skills
A pro-active person with initiative and drive
Excellent negotiating skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Nepali
Professional Certification/Qualifications in Purchasing & Supply Management will be an added advantage
