Key Responsibilities (Terms of Reference - TOR)

Academic Leadership:

Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure the highest standards of academic excellence.
Oversee the implementation of the school’s curriculum, ensuring alignment with national standards.
Promote innovative teaching methodologies and integrate technology into the learning process.

Administrative Management:

Manage academic and administrative day-to-day operations of the school,
Supervise and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff to ensure optimal performance and professional growth.
Ensure compliance with government regulations and school policies.

Student Development:

Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment for students.
Promote extracurricular activities, leadership programs, and character-building initiatives.
Address student disciplinary issues with fairness and empathy.

Residential Facility Oversight:

Ensure the smooth functioning of the residential facility, including student welfare, safety, and discipline.
Collaborate with the hostel management team to provide a conducive living environment for residential students.

Community and Stakeholder Engagement:

Build strong relationships with parents, alumni, and the local community to enhance the school’s reputation and outreach.
Represent the school at educational forums, conferences, and government meetings.

Quality Assurance:

Monitor and evaluate the overall performance of the school, ensuring continuous improvement in all areas.
Prepare and submit reports to the school management and government authorities as required.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 10 years

Other Specification

Qualifications and Experience:

A Master’s degree in Education, Management, Science or a related field (Ph.D. preferred).
Minimum of 10 years of experience as an educator, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (e.g., Principal, Vice-Principal, or similar).
Strong understanding of the Nepalese education system and government policies.
Proven track record of academic leadership and institutional development.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students, staff, and stakeholders.
Experience in managing residential educational facilities will be an added advantage.
