Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Service Technician to join our team. The selected candidate will support installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of biomedical and ophthalmic equipment across healthcare facilities in Nepal.

Key Responsibilities

Install, set up, and perform basic calibration of biomedical and ophthalmic equipment
Carry out routine preventive maintenance and standard repairs
Troubleshoot common hardware and basic software issues
Provide on-site service support to hospitals and clinics
Assist engineers during complex installations and major repairs
Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of installations, preventive maintenance (PM), and service reports
Support user training on the basic operation and handling of equipment
Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers or manufacturers

Other Specification

Diploma in Biomedical Engineering
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
Candidate must hold a valid two-wheeler driving license
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel across Nepal
