Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Primary Grade Teacher who is passionate about inspiring young minds through engaging, activity-based, and experiential learning. The ideal candidate will nurture students’ intellectual curiosity while supporting their social, emotional, and physical development.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the primary curriculum.
Use innovative, activity-based, and experiential teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and confidence.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate records.
Foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills among students.
Promote positive behavior and instill values such as responsibility, respect, and teamwork.
Integrate co-curricular and interdisciplinary activities into classroom teaching.
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding academic progress and student development.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to improve teaching practices.
Participate in school events, training sessions, and professional development programs.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the primary level.
Strong knowledge of primary curriculum and child-centered teaching methodologies.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to use creative and experiential teaching strategies.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written); Nepali language skills are an advantage.
Passion for teaching and commitment to holistic student development.
