Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lower Secondary Level English Teacher who is committed to fostering strong language skills and a love for English among students. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons aligned with the school curriculum, promoting critical thinking, communication skills, and student-centered learning. The teacher will also support students’ academic growth through continuous assessment, constructive feedback, and active participation in school academic activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver English lessons for lower secondary students.
Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
Create an interactive and inclusive classroom environment.
Assess, record, and report students’ progress regularly.
Prepare assignments, tests, and learning materials.
Encourage students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and school events.
Maintain discipline and a positive learning atmosphere.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians when required.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at school level (preferred).
Strong command of English (written and spoken).
Good classroom management and interpersonal skills.
Passionate, patient, and student-focused approach to teaching.
