• You are requested to attend the school in prescribed formal attire.
• Prepare lesson plan along with teaching materials concerning the current knowledge and research of the subject area, submit and get approved from concerned authorities.
• Update home/class assignments and forward for verification on time.
• Prepare the standard test items on the basic of national grid to conduct the test and examination of any kind.
• Invigilate students in formative and summative assessment taken by the school.
• Apply win-win technique while dealing with the concerned parents.
• Keep record of the students’ overall academic achievement and disciplinary matters of your assigned class to produce when and wherever asked by the authorities.
• Communication among teaching staff and students must be followed with Standard English inside the school premises since teachers are role models and students tend to follow them. Therefore, you should create, motivate and monitor an ambiance to speak English by will.
• Keep in touch with the parents through parent coordinator and level coordinator to discuss about the academic achievement, disciplinary behavior and daily attendance of the students as per need in group or individual.
• Motivate the students of your class in curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities to make them active.
• Maintain discipline among the students of your class inside and outside the classroom.
• Solve the problems of the class assigned to you by yourself or in coordination of the level coordinators in case of requirement.
• Be active within self and motivate the students to go for effective classroom management with the educational and informational materials and support to keep classroom neat and tidy.
• Report to the concerned coordinator regarding students’ achievement and disciplinary matters and necessity of the students when and wherever required.
• Discuss to the Head of Department regarding students’ achievement in the particular subject.
• Report to the level coordinator fortnightly regarding students’ achievement and disciplinary matters when and wherever necessary.
• Participate the meetings called by the concerned authorities with required anecdotes of your students when and wherever needed.
• Need to perform miscellaneous duties and responsibilities when and wherever requested by the authorities.

Class Teacher’s Additional Responsibilities

• Conduct meeting with the subject teachers in group or individually regarding the achievement of the students in particular subjects.
• Prepare the progress report card and distribute to concerned parents/guardians.
• Consult the subject teachers about the academic achievement of the students when and where is necessary.
• Hold the classroom meeting as upon need or at least once in a term.
• Instruct your students to be in proper uniform, neatness, hair style and nails as per the rule of the school and monitor them whether they are following it or not.
• Prepare portfolio of the students and keep the document in clear bag to hand over the affidavits to parents on result day.
• Cooperate in classroom management.
• Maintain the flow of students inside/outside of the classrooms.
• Cooperate in assembly management.
• Design the excursion plans by the help of subject teachers and lead the outing.
• Update the class display board on regular basis.
• Prepare the students to perform well in any kind of presentation.
• Perform miscellaneous duties and responsibilities when and wherever requested by the authorities.
