About the job

As a Power Electronics Intern, you will play a key role in the design, development, and testing of power electronic circuits and systems. This hands-on role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and deepen your understanding of power electronics in an energetic and supportive startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and simulation of power electronic circuits and systems.
  • Support the development of prototypes and perform testing and validation.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies and components for power electronics applications.
  • Analyze test data and document findings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tackle technical challenges.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to the enhancement of design methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of power electronics principles and components (e.g., MOSFETs, IGBTs, diodes, capacitors, inductors).
  • Solid foundation in basic analog and digital electronics.
  • Familiarity with circuit simulation tools (e.g., LTSpice, SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink).
  • Basic knowledge of PCB design and layout software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle).
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of electronic components and their characteristics.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding datasheets.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for learning and growing in the field of power electronics.
