Job Description:

TechAxis is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced BI Instructor to join our team. As a BI Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions to our clients/students on various aspects of BI, including but not limited to data visualization, dashboard development, data modelling, and report creation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive and engaging training materials for BI courses based on industry best practices and client/students' needs.
• Deliver interactive and informative training sessions both in-person and online to individuals or groups of varying skill levels.
• Provide hands-on guidance and support to participants during training sessions to ensure effective learning and understanding of BI concepts and techniques.
• Assess the progress of participants, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods as needed to address individual learning styles.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in BI and related technologies to continuously enhance training content and delivery.
• Collaborate with the curriculum development team to update existing training materials and develop new courses to meet evolving industry demands.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Previous experience in teaching, training, or mentoring individuals or groups in a classroom or workshop setting is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Microsoft BI certification(s) preferred.
• Familiarity with other data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus.
• Passion for learning and sharing knowledge with others, with a commitment to helping individuals develop their skills and achieve their goals in BI

Education + Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience working with BI in a professional capacity, including designing and implementing solutions, creating dashboards and reports, and manipulating data.
