We are looking for talented individuals to join our team as either a Power BI Developer or a Data Engineer. Position Overview:
We are hiring for two key roles within our data team:
- Power BI Developer: Focused on designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Fabric to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Data Engineer: Responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support analytics and business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
For Power BI Developer:
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Leverage Microsoft Fabric components (Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks, Pipelines, OneLake, etc.) to manage data efficiently.
- Design and optimize data models, DAX calculations, and Power Query (M) transformations.
- Implement data security, Row-Level Security (RLS), Object-Level Security (OLS), and governance in Power BI.
- Work with Synapse Data Warehouses, KQL databases, and real-time analytics in Microsoft Fabric.
For Data Engineer (Microsoft Fabric & Cloud Data Solutions):
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Microsoft Fabric Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and Synapse Data Engineering.
- Build and manage Lakehouses, Warehouses, and Notebooks within Microsoft Fabric.
- Work with SQL, Python, or Spark to process large datasets efficiently.
- Integrate data from multiple sources using Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric Pipelines, and real-time streaming.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and performance across the data architecture.
Required Skills & Qualifications
For Power BI Developer (Fabric-Focused):
- Hands-on experience with Power BI Service, Power BI Desktop, and Fabric's Dataflows Gen2.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric ecosystem, including OneLake, Data Warehouses, and KQL databases.
- Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and advanced data visualization techniques.
- Experience with DirectLake mode, semantic models, and Power BI governance best practices.
For Data Engineer (Fabric-Focused):
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, Synapse Data Engineering, and Pipelines.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark, and ETL/ELT processing.
- Experience working with Dataflows Gen2, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks.
- Strong knowledge of data architecture, storage, and performance optimization.
Nice to have (For Both Roles):
- Microsoft Fabric & Power BI certifications (PL-300, DP-500, or similar).
- Experience in Real-Time Analytics using KQL and Event Streams.
- Understanding of Azure Synapse, Snowflake, or AWS Redshift.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps for data.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers.
