We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create impactful data visualizations that drive critical business decisions. Your expertise will be pivotal in transforming complex data into clear and actionable insights. You will also lead initiatives to optimize and productionize Power BI applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop visually compelling, interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI that effectively communicate key data insights.
• Optimize data models and queries for performance and scalability, ensuring the dashboards can handle large datasets efficiently.
• Integrate and manage data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy, integrity and compliance with relevant company policies.
• Implement best practices in data visualization focusing on clarity, usability, and user experience.
• Guide and mentor Power BI developers.
• Provide strategic solutions for migrating from legacy systems to modern BI applications.
• Engage effectively in discussions with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in data visualization and analytics, recommending improvements and innovations.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Power BI Developer, with a portfolio showcasing advanced, production-ready dashboards and reports that drive strategic decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science) or equivalent professional experience
• Extensive experience optimizing data models and queries for performance, scalability and handling large datasets efficiently.
• Proficiency in SQL and other relevant tools for data extraction, transformation and manipulation from various sources.
• Strong experience working with the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics for data integration and management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights clearly.
