Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our software delivery processes. As a Platform Engineer, you will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and play a vital role in our software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline software delivery.
• Manage and maintain Linux systems and network administration.
• Implement virtualization, container services, and orchestration (Hypervisor, Docker, and Kubernetes).
• Utilize automation technologies and tools.
• Deploy cloud solutions (AWS) and manage in-house servers.
• Handle web and app server deployments.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Ensure cloud/server/software security.
• Utilize various DevOps tools to enhance productivity.

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate in computer engineering or a related IT field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: Minimum 2 year of experience in a Platform Engineer role.
• Network Knowledge: Basic understanding of internet and intranet setups.
• Network Fundamentals: Familiarity with DHCP, DNS, ARP, VLANs, TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, SSH, and client-server communication.
• Server Knowledge: Understanding of web servers, application servers, and database servers.
• Cloud & Automation: Knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, automation, monitoring, web application deployment, and security.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• SDLC Awareness: Awareness of various SDLC methodologies.
